Our founder Jenny graduated from the Royal College of Art and went on to design for international luxury brands Jasper Conran & Shanghai Tang, and later in the restaurant & hospitality industry – her last project was with the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. In 2012 she became the adopted human to Tibetan Terriers Alfie & Belle – her ‘furry children’ and created Love My Human a contemporary pet shop and luxury groomers in 2018. As a creative conceptual person, she realised the needs of the local community so she expand the business to encompass a chic dog friendly cafe, daycare and wellness centre for dogs and that was how LMH Townhouse was created.
Just like our flagship store, LMH Townhouse is beautifully designed with the comfort of your dog at the forefront of our design decision making. Love My Human Townhouse offers positive and essential services for the benefit and overall wellbeing of dogs.
Our ethos is to support dogs, and in doing so, helping them to have a long, enjoyable, and fruitful life, whilst also enriching the lives of their human parents.
We hugely believe in giving back – fundraising for a range of important causes have become a staple for us. We have taken part in the Trinity Hospice Christmas Fair and offer wall space to a very talented artist Lesley O’Mara, with all proceeds of any sales going to Link Age Southwark. Our biggest fundraising event is Strutz, a canine charity fashion show & auction which we host with the support of many of our wonderful suppliers – a mix of very established & younger, emerging pet brands. The dogs who model for us are made up of our clients & friends from the local King’s Road community, to Instagram famous dogs who want to use their fame for good. This year we’re very excited to be supporting Wild at Heart Foundation & PDSA.
