ProDen PlaqueOff is the original oral hygiene powder supplement brand and has been on the UK Market for over 17 years. The story of ProDen PlaqueOff begins in the 70's when the Swedish dentist Sune Wikner discovered that one of his patients, who previously suffered from chronic tartar formation, suddenly appeared with greatly improved oral health. After some research he identified a connection between the specific algae Ascophyllum nodosum which his patient consumed regularly, and greatly improved oral health. The connection reappeared with a dog that had been fed pet food containing the algae. This led to the start of the company Swedencare and the product ProDen PlaqueOff.
